The Last Meow

How Important are pets in your life and in the lives of people you know?

Pets to me aren't a big deal to me. I have a turtle and I treat it as nothing (shady I know). I can understnad how people love their animals, but when I go to my friends house they treat their animals like nothing. So really I'm indefferent.

ROUGH DRAFT THESIS STATEMENT

2. Crucible Reputations Essay
Oscar Wildes, an Irish novelist and poet once said, "One can survive everything
nowadays, except death, and live down anything, except a good reputation." Through
this, Oscar acknowledges that everything in society is pretty much escapable, but living
up to a good reputation within the community, is a constant and continuous effort. In the
book "The Crucible," Arthur Miller portrays multiple characters outliving and getting past
the strict moral values in an attempt to keep up with a good reputation through John
Proctor, Reverend Paris, and Abigail Williams.

3. "Because it is my name! Because I cannot have another in my life! Because I lie and
sign myself to lies! Because I am not worth the dust on the feet of them that hang! How
may I live without my name? I have given you my soul; leave me my name!"- John
Proctor. The Crucible by Arthur Miller portrayed that in Salem, reputation was very
important. It was so important that if something was done to unclean your name, your
children were condemned to live with an unclean name. Today's society is the same,
reputation still has a high-power. For example, Michael Jackson named was ruined with
the accusations that arose. When his name came up pedophile came to mind. He died
with an unclean name and destroyed reputation. Reputation has become such

8. "My reputation grows with every failure," quote by George Bernard shaw expresses
a lot about several characters in Arthur Miller's famous play The Crucible. During the
Salem Witch trials reputation meant absolutely everything to almost everyone.
Reputation was people thought of you not who you truly were. It took the people living
during those years a lot of wonderful actions but it frankly only took one inadequate
action to ruin their name in the village. Reputation meant everything like in the case of
Reverend Hale and John Proctor. Meanwhile there were others that didn't care so much
about their reputation like in the case of Abigail.

I feel that these are the best because they grabbed my eye automatically. They all open up with a quote that makes you want to continue reading. They each give me an idea of how to open my essay. They know how to embed quotes really well.

#6

The first day of school led to the last day of three kids lives. Yaquiline, the lothario, Yessica, the maverick, and Yanessa, the nemesis of Yaquiline. On that day, they expirienced a philippic between each other in english class. It started fine, they all sat down in class while Mr. Schreiber introduced himself and the class. They figured out he was a jingoist, because he was wearing a red, white, and blue tuxedo. But after seeing that, they realized who was amongst them. . . the infamous “Y Ladies.”
Yaqualine, and Yanessa, hated each other because Yaqualine took a bite of Yanessa’s Spicy Chicken Sandwhich, which led to Yanessa calling Yaqualin
tawdry. Yaqualine, or “Yaquie”, stated that as a philanderer, she slept with Yanessa’s boyfriend. Yanessa’s previous view of as a quixotic young girl, immedietly went away.
One day Yessica came to school and yelled at Yanessa and Yaqualine using solecism, Yessica couldn’t say anything because she felt
saturnine beacause of all those spicy chicken burgers that she ate. Yaqualine didnt really care because she was a procrustean, she was tired of arguing. So the rivalry between Yanessa and Yaqualine came to an end. Many people say it was a Pyrrhic victory, because even after the arguement, they still were not friends.
But the wierd part of the story is, why didn’t Yessica get involved? She has the
spoonerism of words that confuses the Y Ladies to death. But recently she found the Y Ladies protean and unbearable. She could have won this arguement and be the number one Y lady and live in sybarite for the rest of her life!

What Would I Die For

I would die for my family, plain and simple. If they were ever in deep trouble and we about to be given a beat down or whatever I would take the punishment for them, no matter what. I've done it before and I'll do it again. I would be proud to die for my family, show how much I love them.
