I agree and disagree because there is always a pro and con in almost everything. The advantages are you being able to do things faster and more efficient. The disadvantages are the fact it can be distracting, useless and mindless. The technology that I use almost everyday is I take the light rail to school and my iPod for music. I don't think I can go a day without music. But if I really try I'm pretty sure I can go technology free for a day.

Oscar Wildes, an Irish novelist and poet once said, "One can survive everything
nowadays, except death, and live down anything, except a good reputation." Through
this, Oscar acknowledges that everything in society is pretty much escapable, but living
up to a good reputation within the community, is a constant and continuous effort. In the
book "The Crucible," Arthur Miller portrays multiple characters outliving and getting past
the strict moral values in an attempt to keep up with a good reputation through John
Proctor, Reverend Paris, and Abigail Williams.

The first day of school led to the last day of three kids lives. Yaquiline, the lothario, Yessica, the maverick, and Yanessa, the nemesis of Yaquiline. On that day, they expirienced a philippic between each other in english class. It started fine, they all sat down in class while Mr. Schreiber introduced himself and the class. They figured out he was a jingoist, because he was wearing a red, white, and blue tuxedo. But after seeing that, they realized who was amongst them. . . the infamous “Y Ladies.”
Yaqualine, and Yanessa, hated each other because Yaqualine took a bite of Yanessa’s Spicy Chicken Sandwhich, which led to Yanessa calling Yaqualin tawdry. Yaqualine, or “Yaquie”, stated that as a philanderer, she slept with Yanessa’s boyfriend. Yanessa’s previous view of as a quixotic young girl, immedietly went away.
One day Yessica came to school and yelled at Yanessa and Yaqualine using solecism, Yessica couldn’t say anything because she felt saturnine beacause of all those spicy chicken burgers that she ate. Yaqualine didnt really care because she was a procrustean, she was tired of arguing. So the rivalry between Yanessa and Yaqualine came to an end. Many people say it was a Pyrrhic victory, because even after the arguement, they still were not friends.
But the wierd part of the story is, why didn’t Yessica get involved? She has the spoonerism of words that confuses the Y Ladies to death. But recently she found the Y Ladies protean and unbearable. She could have won this arguement and be the number one Y lady and live in sybarite for the rest of her life!

Today is my uncle Jerry's Birthday.  My family is going to go eat at TODAI and go watch FAST AND FURIOUS.  I have to stay home while they are doing it.  I have to baby sit my baby cousin CJ. CJ's mom is gonna go with them but she convinced my mom to make me stay home. I was the one that suggested to watch FAST AND FURIOUS!!!!  Dang just think about it when they be eating TODAI I be feeding CJ mango. When they be watching FAST AND FURIOUS I would probably be watching Barney over and over again.

I Screwed It Up

My uncle was trying really really hard to get with this one Chamorro girl for like 3 months. He stopped drinking, smoking, cussing and even fighting to set a better example for her. On Wednesday he finally got with her for like  10 MINUTES!!!!! You ask why ten minutes?? I reply because I screwed it up.  For the months prior he was using my phone to text her.  In doing so I read everything and when they got together I said, "can I have my phone back since all you did was text her on it, I know what you said". I screwed it up big time.

I have noda to talk about.  All i can say is school is boring and that I wish I had candy. Candy makes me awake.  Amy told me that the Stars lost to the Sharks and I am not really tripping.  All I know is when playoffs start Sharks will stop hahaha peace out.

5th period rules

The rules are very funny and I believe not a lot of people are going to do it.  I am going to do it but the rules I hate is the shoe rule.  I wonder how long the rules are going to be in effect. I have nothing to talk about right now so I am trying to take up as much I can so it can look like a lot of typing.

Life is random

Life is random so be random.  Whatever you feel like doing do it. Just don't kill nobody.  I got my lightrail ticket today and I payed the fine. The fine was $190.00 which is a lot but I payed it.  I'm still grounded but whatever it wiill blow oevr I know It.

IAN

My baby cousin who is 4 years old is leaving to TEXAS. I'm really sad because he is fun to be around.  He is always happy. He is going to texas to live with his mom. The mom leftlike three months ago with her fiance and left IAN behind with us.  He cried the 1st week but we cheered him up. Now my grandpa and him are going to drive to Texas on wednesday to visit them. My grandpa is going to stay there for a week and then drive back.  He says he wants to stay here with my grandpa but he also wants to see his mommy. I just hope he'll be happy.

I broke

my right wrist.  it hurts to do everything like eat, sleep,  write and even type this stupid blog.  I broke it at my cousin's party at Hellyer park. We were walking on the bike trail past the spot where everyone tags and we decided to climb up the steep hill to throw "stuff" at the cars on the freeway. We were having fun and all until we were coming down.  I was coming down and I slipped and started sliding down rapidly.  I jumped like 7 feet and landed on my wrist. At first I didnt fell nothing but later my right arm started to ache and it got swollen.  Today my grandpa popped into place and put vicks on it. It burns right now. So if you guys see me with a wrap you know why. OH GO DALLAS STARS!!!! HAHA

This Saturday

I am going to my cousin Peter's party.  It is at Gill Park behind Embassy Suites in Milpitas. After the party at the park we are  going to hit the Great Mall to watch MADEA GOES TO JAIL or WATCHMEN!!!!! It is supposed to be a boys noght out but Pete says he is bringing his girlfriend to the thing.  Because of that some of the cousins are not goint to the Mall.

The Jungle

My uncle works at the jungle.  I remember when I was little and I thought it was the S**T!!! But now they have the same old stuff and same old arcade games and that they havent bought anything new.  I can't imagine working at such a boring place like that.  Shoot even the pizza is fake.  They make it look like they make it from scratch but the truth is they have it already pre-cooked.  They get it from COSTCO.

The Ukulele

Portugeese had a big influence on it.  They came to Hawaii and were playing their small guitars and the natives came and listened to them sing.  They liked the music so much that they made a guitar of their own. And now it has become an icon for Hawaiians. 

This Summer

I'm going to Hawaii for two weeks then I am going to Guam.  After that I am going to Yap.  I never been to Hawaii before but my ma says we are going to see my family there.  I've been to Guam and it is so sweet and chill.  It is like hecka sweet and the ocean is warm.  I want to go to Lost Pond when I am there.  Lost pond is a small pond but goes down to like 20 feet.  There is a diving jump there.

Take things for granted

I take a lot of things for granted. But now I look back and think about all the things I have.    Like we are the only school in SJUSD to be able to take laptops home.    Like  how I have  hecka family and how my parents still have a job.  I learned not to take things for granted.  Be thankful for everything you have right now for it could be worse.

This Weekend

this weekend was pretty sweet I went to Hellyer park. There is this one spot in the back of the park, under the freeway entrance, across the mini river, and through the forest that has a wall all for tagging. The place is called “World’s Art”. It has so many sick designs of graffiti. They have one drawing for every month. My cousin told me to take pictures of him acting like he was tagging with an empty spray can. WHAT A RETARD!!!! haha but yeah it looks pretty real.

dang i checked my grades and the blogs are currently 210 points!!!!!!!!! that is a lot of points. That is why my grades in Thompson’s class is kinda low. Imma raise it because I know I will. dude 210 POINTS!!!!! that is crazy.

Island Festival

Violet is hosting an island festival in June.  Since I am an islander I am gonna have to perform with my family. I'm gonna have to do the haka.  The haka is a an island dance used to scare the non-locals.  So basically if you ever stepped into a Pacific island and saw men coming at you, you would probably pee in your pants.  They weren't supposed to touch the people but hey we break the rules.  The chant translated in engloish means "drive this evil spirit away, may it never step back in this land,  may the god of war give us the strength to overcome".

Loss of Words

I have nothing to blog about.  All I can think of right now is Kool-Aid and J-Boog.  I'm always thinking about Kool-Aid.  Most people say I fit the black stereotype. I may fit it but I am not black.  J-Boog is a hawaiian reggae star that has the sweetest voice anyone has heard. His voice is quiet, mellow, and chill.  It is like the feel good island music.

Ukulele Master

My uncle Texter and my cousin Peter are like the best Ukulele Masters ever.  I can only play like 1 song. The song is I'm Yours by Jason Mraz.  They are like at Cinderella Story, Beautiful, What A wonderful World, and rebel soldiers.  They have a gift of  music.  They are trying to teach me how to play more songs but I don't spend enough time with them.  Give me a month and I'll be better than Nico Evaristo.  haha yeah rite maybe NEMO!!

This week alone I now have my name on the bad board 17 times.   I just lost 85 points "talking".  I admit I was talking on some occasions but she wrote my name today for listening to music.  but Whatever I got an A in her class.  So I'll probably go down like 5% but whatever.

Family Reunion

I just found out that I can never go to a family reunion on my mom's side.  This is because back in the islands there are different class; my mom's family is at the very bottom.  Our family can't go to weddings or birthdays. The only place we can go with our family is to funerals.  The fact that my grandpas name is never brought up when they talk about family is sad.  My mom says this is because our family is disowned.

Life Sucks

I am grounded for 3 months.  I got caught on the lightrail and when my ma found out she grounded me for 3 months.  So usually when I get grounded I can't watch tv, go nowhere and can't use my phone, but this time all that happened plus can't dance no more, can't go anywhere without my ma(if she lets me) and I CAN'T LISTEN TO MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Life with no music sucks.  I got 87 days til I'm free from this prison.

I'm sorry but the sharks lost. Haha just kidding I'm not. Wait til playoffs start then it will be a disgrace. I told Amy i was gonna give the city false hope. But whatever. Sharks may be the best but I love the Dallas Stars. Don't hate on me.

Mrs. Mena

Her class is so easy.  All we do in her class is computer work. On our finals we did our test on the Internet.  Almost everyone googled all of the answers.  Also on Fridays we watch movies. We learn a lot of things.  All of our work on the internet is easy and can be done in 20 minutes.

NOTORIOUS

HECKA SICK MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The movie is sick and funny.  I asked hecka people before I saw the movie what it was like.  They all said that they made Lil Kim look hecka ummm "obvious". The only part I hate about the movie is that they made the West Coast look like little girls saying a lot of stuff. You guys should go watch it if you really like Biggie Smalls.  They showed the struggle of a regular kid living in New York.

It all started up in first grade and I just moved to a new school. I was scared that my mom wouldn't be there with me. Right when my mom and I walk into my class I see all the people and I just get scared. She tells me she is going to work and that she'll come later. I get scared and start crying. Everyone starts laughing at me, except for HER.  She tells everyone to stop laughing at me and she tells me her name is Genevieve Rodriguez.  The whole day we talk and she introduces me to everyone. I soon meet my best friend Justin Totten.  I quickly become best friends with her and Justin. Fast forward to 5th grade Justin tells me that he got with Genevieve. I am happy for him and confused. I really don't know why I'm confused.  Days pass and Justin tells me I should stop hanging out with them so he can be with her more. I get mad but I tell him I will.  Weeks go by and Justin says he's sorry for that and says that she broke up with him. I ask him why but he says to ask her. I go ask her and she starts getting nervous in front of me. I tell her she's acting weird for she never is weird in front of me. She says she is acting weird because she broke up with Justin because she was using him to make me jealous. At that point of my life girls weren't on my mind, rather basketball was. I tell her oh and say nothing after. Days go by and I think she got over it. Basketball season starts and I get on the boys squad, then she gets on the girls squad too. I go to the homework center and she comes in later too. Later in the year we have to pick what middle school we want to go to. I am the only one in my grade to pick Steinbeck Middle School.  She decides to go to Hoover and Justin decides to go to Willow Glen.  Two days before we send our choices she tells me that she switched her schools to go to Steinbeck. That is when I talk to her. I ask her why she is doing all this and she tells me that she still loves me. I tell her love is a strong word and she is tripping. She keeps saying no. We go to Steinbeck together and I start getting into the love season. My eyes are opening up and I know that I might lover her back.  I tell her this and she says we should get together. I tell her I never had a girl in my life, like she doesn't know that. She says to make it official she says we have to kiss. I ask her how to do that. She says its easy and she kisses me. I really like the kiss. I kiss her back. I don't know how long we've been going at it but it was one of the greatest moments of my life. At the end of the 6th grade school year she gives me a note and tells me to read it when I get home. When I get home I open it up and read it. In it she says I'm becoming a different person and that I spend more time with family that with her and that we should call it quits. The next day we talk and I ask her is this what you really want, and she says yeah. I tell her I will not beg and I hope she finds someone that will make her happy. We separate and the next year I go to John Muir and she goes to Hoover. I gave her my heart and she didn't want it, so I hope she is happy now.

School is Back

I'm blogging right now in Ms. Miller's  class. Her class is very boring. she repeats a lot of the same stuff. I'm on my laptop and she never notices me when I'm on it but she notices other people. She is really blind because I sit like in front of the class. Haha.

Family Time

Family Time is important to everyone especially me. This Christmas I only got like 3 presents but I wasn't tripping because my family was together. To have my family together is crazy seeing how a lot of them came from Texas, Oregon, and Arkansas. The best part of it was when my uncles came back from basic training. They couldn't call us or tell us when they were coming. There was a total of 57 family members. The day after Christmas we all went to the park. We were all happy to be together, we played basketball, football, and baseball. The whole time was nothing but fun. The guys played the ukulele and the girls were singing.
