Bradbury's Writing Style

"As he stood there the sky over the house screamed." (Pg. 13)

"You must understand that our civilization is so vast that we can't have our minorities upset and stirred." (Pg. 59)

Her face was like a snow-covered island upon which rain might fall, but it felt no rain; over which clouds might pass their moving shadows, but she felt no shadow.

"Only the 'family' is people" page 84

"My family is people. They tell me things: I laugh, they laugh! And the colors!" page 73

Bradbury likes to use personification. His diction makes the non living alive. Also he is influencing the readers secretly but not so secretly like the quote on page 59.

Banned Books

-Books are banned mainly because of sexual contents or religion.
-If we have freedom of speech then why should these books be banned?
-I read To Kill a Mockingbird, The Color Purple and Of Mice and Men. If I did not read these books my outlook on life would have been more narrow than now. I would probably not have question life as I do now.
